Amy Sullivan

With a degree in interior design from the University of Tennessee, Amy understands how art can pull together a room’s look. As such, while her work is represented by some of the finest galleries in the United States, Amy also works directly with interior designers and individuals to create paintings in exactly the size, look, and feel their spaces require.

By bringing a custom, bespoke process to the table - not to mention a finished product that will be handed down through the generations – Amy gives clients an experience they’ll never forget.

Despite early creative leanings, Amy’s career initially took her down a decades-long path in corporate sales. That path served her well, honing her communication and business skills, but she eventually heeded her heart’s call to be the creative person she was meant to be. She first marketed herself as a decorative artist before finally settling into the life of a fine artist, painting daily in her North Carolina studio.

Unlike manufactured or mass-produced art, Amy’s paintings give a room a ‘soul’ the way only original art can.

Her expertise is not only creating the artwork but also in making recommendations for framing and displaying it to maximum effect. This allows her to help guide designers and individuals in integrating her pieces seamlessly into their spaces.

Whether landscapes, abstracts, or her tobacco barn paintings, Amy creates an experience, both through the process of creating custom commissioned pieces for them and in the finished products - scaled and designed specifically for their rooms’ dimensions and designs.

Although in many ways they are studies in simplicity, Amy’s paintings draw the viewer in with their moody complexity. Textural and dimensional, luminous and intriguing, they capture snapshots of emotion that allow the imagination to soar.
